Communal barbecues and outdoor recreation areas
The Landmark community is fortunate to have excellent outdoor recreation areas including the main oval (between 5 and 7 Bowen Drive), and electric barbecues on the BBQ lawn (between 41 and 43 Blackall Street) and on the gym lawn (next to the gym and below the 47 Blackall Street podium). Residents can make bookings for the ovals and barbecue areas through the building manager on the common usage area booking form.
In accordance with Landmark Rules, the barbecues may only be used between the hours of 8:00am and 9:00pm on a first come, first served basis. Please be considerate of other residents when using the barbecue and be aware of noise levels. The area is to be vacated by 10:00pm.
Other than for official Landmark Apartments events the communal barbecues are only to be used for small gatherings.
Barbecues must be cleaned after use and all rubbish placed in the bin. If the bin is overflowing, please take your rubbish to your building and dispose of it in the normal manner.
Children must be supervised at all times.

Landmark Library
The Landmark Library, located within the gym (next to the Manager’s office), was established as a community service in 2010 with donations from previous onsite managers and residents. It is located within the gym inside the cupboards on the wall housing the televisions.
The library is divided into different sections covering areas of interest including fiction, history, crime, politics, autobiography/biography, military history, business, travel, literature, cooking, religion and health. Approximately 1,000 books are available. Several books can be borrowed at a time and if one is of particular interest, it may be retained by the borrower.
Donations of clean, undamaged books are very welcome and can be placed in the box within the far right cupboard. The voluntary librarian maintains, sorts donations and refreshes the library regularly. Any duplicate books are removed and donated to Lifeline. Magazines, DVDs and puzzles cannot be accepted as donations.
